Existing and potential Suppliers and Contractors were invited along to the St Vincent Street venue in Glasgow to hear an update on Transmission investments for the period 2013 to 2021.
Following a similar format to previous events, we shared our plans which will see widespread modernisation and a fit-for-purpose network, capable of supporting a 21st Century electricity system.
As an interactive event the day provided the opportunity for stakeholders to engage in dialogue with key SP Energy Networks representatives discussing key factors and upcoming projects. Discussion groups provided an opportunity to raise views on working with us, improvements and concerns.
Working with the supply chain will be crucial to delivering this significant investment.
