Safety

The safety of our customers and staff is built into everything we do.

To report a power cut or damage to electricity power lines or substations, call the new national Freephone number 105.

It’s not just about meeting legal obligations and safety targets, it’s about exceeding them.

We go that extra mile by being proactive in our approach to advising staff, customers and the general public about safety issues around electricity. This site provides safety advice across a wide range of activities.

We do everything we can to keep dangerous equipment out of reach of the public but some activities may bring you close to our facilities. If you are in any doubt about the dangers of electricity please contact us.
