Following this second round of consultation we will finalise our design for the substation layout, including proposed locations for buildings, equipment, access routes and landscaping.
We plan to submit a planning application under the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 (as amended) to South Lanarkshire Council in April or May 2025. The application will be accompanied by an Environmental Impact Assessment Report, and a report summarising the consultation feedback received and how this has influenced the proposals.
