SP Energy Networks are currently delivering the connection for North Kyle Wind Farm in East Ayrshire.
The wind farm is situated nearby New Cumnock, East Ayrshire and will connect into New Cumnock Substation which is located on the B741 between Dalmellington and New Cumnock. The vast majority of the short cable route will be installed under private land and when completed in Q1 2025 will be capable of generating over 200 MW of clean energy – the equivalent average use of around 160,000 homes.
