We have completed the first round of public consultation on our preferred route. Based on the information received during this consultation period, through our various feedback channels, we are currently making modifications to sections of our preferred route.

This aligns with section 3.13 of SP Energy Networks’ ‘Approach to Routeing and Environmental Impact Assessment’ document, available in the ‘Project Documents’ tab, which states:

“The preferred route is subjected to further consideration in response to public consultation, and may be modified further in the light of these consultations. Modifications may result in further consultation if necessary.”

We are hosting public consultation events to present and obtain feedback on these modifications. The locations, times, and dates are as follows:

Wednesday, 26th March 2025 – Yarrow Feus, Yarrow Feus Hall (3-7pm)

Thursday, 27th March 2025 – Ettrickbridge, Kirkhope Parish Hall (3-7pm)

Monday, 31st March 2025 – Newcastleton, Newcastleton Village Hall (3-7pm)

Tuesday, 1st April 2025 – Teviothead, Teviothead Village Hall (3-7pm)

Wednesday, 2nd April 2025 – Roberton, Forman Memorial Hall (3-7pm)

If you would like a hard copy version of any of the consultation materials, please contact us. Consultation materials can also be made available in large print format.
