SP Energy Networks added yet another award to its growing list of successes at the prestigious Utility Week Industry Awards Ceremony, held in the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday 12th December.
Utility Week recognises excellence across the industry and rewards organisations that have achieved outstanding performance in the last year. Gaining a shortlist position is an achievement itself; but winning is a real hallmark of success.
Hosted by Jeremy Vine, 1,400 guests from the utility sector nervously waited to find out who would become the 2016 winners in thirteen categories.
Huge congratulations to our Social Obligations team who were announced winners in the Customer Care category for the work we 
do for our vulnerable customers, and a special well done to the other two teams who were shortlisted for Customer Engagement and Capital Project Management.
Vicky Kelsall, Customer Service Director said “We were delighted to be nominated as finalists in three categories and winning Customer Care is a big achievement. We had to demonstrate a true understanding of our customers’ needs and the independent panel of judges were looking for evidence of something more than “business as usual”.
